Abstract

Comparative analysis of internal friction characteristics dependent on amplitude is conducted for the welded butt-joint of PT-3V alloy (PT-2V is used as additive material). It is shown that the decrease in internal friction, which is a result of cyclic loading, takes place due to increase in an amount of the points of dislocations fixation and redistribution of these points. This process of structure stabilization is finished during 5·104 cycles of preloading. This is the reason of increase in welded material creep stress.
