Abstract
There has been much debate as to whether the money effort and money spent providing science teachers with the skills and equipment necessary to use PowerPoint in lessons is an effective use of resources in terms of the ;earning benefits experienced by the students. This article reviews current research into the use of PowerPoint in education and offers guidance for secondary science teachers on how to achieve the best learning outcomes for their students using the program.
