Abstract

The Outdoor Learning Professional is designed as a thought-provoking text that explores relevant discussions about what might denote a professional in the outdoor sector. These discussions are not new, yet they are often happening in isolation in different areas of the outdoor learning arena, this book brings these together in a text that allows the reader to explore current thinking from these different areas.

Divided into four sections, this book discusses the various different ways in which outdoor learning and the outdoor sector can be viewed and therefore provides a broader understanding of what it means to become and remain a professional within these different perspectives.
