The EEA Report provides an assessment of the state of Europe's seas based on data and information from several published or officially reported sources. It focuses on marine species and habitats, the predominant pressures on these species and habitats, and the marine activities responsible for these pressures. It examines the state of marine species and habitats, such as seabed and water column habitats and key biotic groups.
