    Abstract

The European Commission has drafted some strategic issues regarding climate change and the industrial environmental impact. The Commission in the 2928th Environmental Council Meeting supports the strengthening role of European BAT Reference documents in determining permit conditions, especially emission limit values. The Commission has also produced a report identifying the role of soil in mitigating climate change that can inturn play an important role in climate change. Existing soil management practices are known to have a considerable impact on carbon stocks where agricultural practices help to improve minimize carbon losses. The laws also support sustainable hunting by recognizing the seasonal hunting of wild birds that may be beneficial to habitat conservation. Commission has launched the Sustainable Hunting Initiative with an aim to improve understanding of legal and technical aspects of the directive's provision on hunting, along with development programs for scientific, conservative, and awareness measurements.
