Abstract
Situation mapping & time spatialisation. Concerned with phenomenological ‘presence’ of the city of Plymouth & perception mapping factors, Plymouth’s neglected sites are examined through a system of architectonic experiments to construct a spatio-map codifying a tactile encounter with situation, materiality & the ephemeral. The work questions the principal of design ordination and aims to construct a form of spatial notation that foregrounds the perceptual experiences of space.
