Abstract

Air travel often connects people with significant people and places, facilitating engagement in meaningful occupations. Anecdotal and growing research evidence highlights that some people living with dementia have experienced barriers to flying. This presentation will outline research led by occupational therapists to promote accessibility to air travel for this group.
