Abstract
In the summer of 2020, the authors invited UK poets to partner with poets from around the world, to work collaboratively on poems responding to the virus. Professor Caleshu and his team developed an interactive website (poetryandcovid.com) where members of the public could also submit work to be published as well as comment upon each other’s work while taking part in discussions and Q&As.
This website archives the over 1000 poems submitted to poetryandcovid.com by over 600 poets, and viewed by over 100,000 from over 125 countries during the Covid-19 pandemic, June 2020-June 2021.
