Abstract
Collection of artists' moving image. Curated by Kerry Baldry, it includes Parker's Super8 film, 'Tinside'. Continuous screening in the Videocorner of Listasafn Árnesinga, the LÁ Art Museum, South Iceland, from 1 June to 19 July 2025.
"These experimental works thoughtfully engage with the concept of time in cinema, challenging traditional narratives and exploring how much can be conveyed within sixty seconds. The programmes showcase an eclectic mix of work from artists at various stages of their careers, ranging from award-winning filmmakers to recent graduates.
You are invited to experience how a single minute can transcend its temporal constraints to convey various themes and nuances in experimental film" (programme notes).
