Abstract
Building on the work of others over the last decade, on the experience of member authorities, research by member universities and perspectives from local stakeholders, this report calls on the Government to address the disadvantages faced by coastal communities urgently with a coordinated approach based on 28 recommendations to empower, protect, connect and invest in communities which have too long been neglected, yet are central to our future.
