Abstract

In today’s fast-paced, rapidly changing earth, throwaway society and the never ending ‘consumption of more’ individuals are re-evaluating what is most important in their lives and demanding greater authenticity, provenance, responsibility and sustainability. This paper addresses the timely importance of how Designers and Craftspeople are developing genuine relationships with their patrons and industry partners.
