N2 - The article is devoted to the development of an information system for monitoring and controlling a ship power plant with the possibility of predicting the parameters of the technical condition. A diagram of data flows of the main processes in the information system for monitoring and controlling a ship power plant with its inherent components has been developed and presented. The implementation of the scheme of information exchange between the elements of the ship's power plant for monitoring and controlling the ship's power plant is proposed. As an example, the implementation of the information model for monitoring diesel-electric installations developed by the authors, which is part of the ship power plant, is considered in detail. The article shows a variant of predicting the parameters of the technical condition in dynamics with the possibility of detecting violations of the permissible limits of the values of controlled parameters in the future at the corresponding time interval. The shown development will be useful for further research on the processes of monitoring and controlling the parameters of the technical condition of a ship power plant, both for the corresponding forecast time and up to the obtained parameter values with the smallest forecast time value at which the set of allowable limits will be exceeded.
