Abstract

As businesses continually strive to maintain a competitive edge, the potential for computational systems to provide a substantial advantage has yet to be fully exploited. There are many reasons for this but this paper focuses on two major issues: the first is concerned with the provisions of systems which can share information across multiple perspectives and multiple domains; the second is capturing levels of knowledge within decision support systems which can aid system users by providing them with high quality information on which to base their design decisions.
