Abstract

Imperfect Cinema: Some New Perspectives was a micro-cinema event featuring a programme of 17 bespoke short films commissioned and curated by Imperfect Cinema. These films explored how Imperfect Cinema might be reconceived and reconsidered in a 21st century UK environment in which poverty, social exclusion health issues, and creeping gentrification are prevalent and in which local / community voices are largely unheard.
