Abstract
This article discusses the experiences of lecturers evaluating and developing teaching methods within a gastrointestinal (GI) and liver post−qualifying diploma/degree module. The benefits of a conference morning that formed part of the educational strategy within this module are appraised with regard to the current literature. The conference morning included patient, clinician and commerce representation, all aiming to promote and share knowledge regarding GI and liver disease. Two years of evaluation data is provided and its relevance to the conference morning and module is discussed.
