Abstract
The objectives of this study were to produce new geology maps and to provide a compilation and interpretation of geological, geotechnical and earth science data as a basis for safe, cost-effective planning for development and urban renewal. The study involved both fieldwork and the collation of existing records and published material. This paper describes the nature and scope of the work and includes a presentation of certain aspects of the study. -from Authors
