Abstract

A sensitive and reproducible method was developed for the determination of μg l-1 levels of methylamines in marine samples. The compounds are preconcentrated from water or pore-water samples by microdiffusion, then determined by gas chromatography on a packed column of untreated Chromosorb 103 (60-80 mesh), using a nitrogen-phosphorus-selective detector.
