Abstract
'C' is a performance devised as a process of responding to textual and material traces of carbon cycles between land and sea. The work explores movement as a process of mark-making that re-inscribes acts of carbon digestion between bodies. Ingredients include: algae extracts, lichen and phycocyanin, tree bark, charcoal, ash, salt and seaweed.
