Abstract
BLVD is an experimental observational documentary which explores a period of the the transition of Bath Street in Stonehouse, Plymouth, to its new identity as Millbay Boulevard. This audio-visual exploration was hot over the course of one week and features audio contributions by members of the local community affected by this change. This piece considers the fragility and precarious nature of histories undervalued due to social exclusion. Featuring a score by renowned composer and multi-instrumentalist Patrick James Pearson, this film was created for Plymouth Art Weekender and premiered at Leadworks venue on it's inaugural evening.
