3D-printed teeth at Peninsula Dental School

Research output: Contribution to journalLetter

Abstract

The use of dental manikins for pre-clinical training of dental undergraduates within a Simulated Dental Learning Environment (SDLE) is common practice within the UK. This provides a safe and supportive environment in which undergraduates can develop both their technical skills and confidence before progressing onto patient clinics.1 Traditionally, typodont plastic teeth were used within the dental manikins for student preparations.
