Project Details
Overview
This project investigates how governments develop constructive narratives to accelerate residential heat pump adoption, addressing key barriers including cost, perceived compulsion, misinformation, and lack of information. Using a Rapid Evidence Assessment, an international case study database, semi-structured interviews with representatives from 15 different countries and the development of policy evidence quality criteria, the project provides actionable guidance for policymakers. Led by Dr Hanne Knight the project has been funded by the UsersTCP a collaboration programme that sits under the International Energy Agency.
