Profile summary

Dr. Zeb Khan holds PhD in Administrative Sciences and Masters in Project Management.  He is a Lecturer (Project Management) at Plymouth Business School and a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (SFHEA, UK) with over two decades of experience in higher education, academic leadership, and policy-oriented research. His teaching and research span project management, leadership, organisational behaviour, and public sector reform, with a particular interest in applying interdisciplinary approaches to management challenges in transitional and Global South contexts.

Dr. Khan has held senior academic and administrative roles at universities in Pakistan and the UK, including Professor, Program Head (SZABIST University, Pakistan), and Director of Research (Sarhad University, Pakistan), and Head of FAST School of Management (Pakistan). He leads the following modules at PBS: Project Management, Effective Manager, and Project Management Methodologies, and supervises postgraduate research projects.

An active researcher, he has published over 20 peer-reviewed journal articles, authored two books, and contributed a chapter on CSR and spiritual leadership. His most current research explores AI in decision making, indigenous models of leadership, and institutional reform in the public sector with focus on HRM. He also serves on the Plymouth Internal Research Ethics Committee (PIREC).

In addition to his academic work, Dr. Khan is a prolific columnist, having authored over 150 op-eds on education, governance, and public policy in The News International and The Express Tribune.
