    Profile summary

    My current role is Applied Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Nature-based Carbon Offsetting. This role is part of the Good Growth Entrepreneurial Futures Project (funded through the Cornwall and Isles of Scilly Good Growth Fund), based within the Net-Zero Exchange. With a wide scope for Research Development & Innovation, my primary focus is to engage with enterprises within Cornwall and Isles of Scilly to support their development of Nature-based Carbon Offsetting solutions.
    As a senior carbon footprint analyst, researcher and industry expert I have over two decades of experience with a primary focus on carbon mitigation and offsetting in both the public and private sectors. I am fluent in a variety of carbon calculators, and have contributed to the development and dissemination of data acquisition protocols for linear infrastructure.
    My academic background includes a fully funded PhD at University of Southampton, a fully funded MSc in Fire Safety Engineering from University of Ulster as well as a fully funded BSc (Hons) Fire Safety and Management from University of Leeds. My awards include the IMechE Whitworth Scholarship.
