    Teaching interests

    Teaching Experience

    My teaching responsibilities were varied but over the years concerned the teaching of inorganic/analytical chemistry and instrumentation to the BSc (Hons) Combined Studies in Science, Chemistry, BSc (Hons) Applied Chemistry, BSc (Hons) Environmental Science, BSc (Hons) Chemical Oceanography, BSc (Hons) Biological Sciences, HNC/HTEC Physical Sciences (Chemistry) and Certificate of Applied Chemistry (LRSC). I taught extensively on fieldwork (including in Malaysia for over 20 years) I have also taught on a number of international short courses in the USA, Japan, Norway and a number of countries in Europe.

    I have previously held the posts of Head of the School of Environmental Sciences, Associate Dean, Learning & Teaching (Science and Technology), Associate Dean, International (Science and Technology), and Head of the Diving and Marine Centre at the University of Plymouth.
