Profile summary

I am a Lecturer in Marine Conservation in the School of Biological and Marine Sciences. My research is applied, focusing on quantifying human impacts on the marine environment, particularly relating to fisheries and marine plastic pollution.

Teaching interests

I teach at undergraduate level on BSc Ocean Science and Marine Conservation, BSc Ocean Exploration and Surveying, and BSc Ocean Science and at postgraduate level of MSc Marine Conservation and MSc Applied Marine Science. My teaching covers a range of topics including marine plastic pollution, fisheries management, marine conservation, stakeholder engagement and marine policy and planning.
