Profile summary
Sarah is a Lecturer in Building Surveying in the Department of Architecture and Built Environment at the University of Plymouth. She is a Chartered Building Surveyor with extensive surveying, building and project management experience. Before moving into teaching Sarah gained a variety of industry experience across a range of sectors as a senior surveyor in the local office of a multinational property consultancy where she was responsible for managing and supporting teams. She has a keen interest in buildings and their construction and enjoys using technical and project experience to teach.
Sarah moved into teaching alongside her professional career before making the change to a career in education more permanent by joining the tutoring team at the University College of Estate Management. Sarah brings the teaching experienced gained leading a range of surveying and building technology modules to her role with University of Plymouth.
