    Overview

    Profile summary

I recently completed my Research Master's (ResM), investigating the metabolic impact of combining Venetoclax with anti-diabetic medications in the treatment of acute myeloid leukaemia (AML), expanding our understanding of AML metabolism and its response to therapeutics.

I also worked as a research assistant at the Peninsula Dental School, where I used 3D cell culture models of the oral mucosa to study cellular responses, including cell death and pro-inflammatory cytokine secretion, under mechanical stress.

Currently, as a PhD student, I am refining these 3D models to investigate macrophage-mediated inflammation in chronic periodontitis.
