    I manage the Plymouth Atomic Mass Spectrometry Facility and also the SoGEES ISO 9001 quality management system.I train users in advanced analytical instrumentation, such as inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry and inductively coupled plasma optical emission spectrometry and associated sample preparation techniques.

    Teaching interests

    My teaching is mainly practical based and covers several areas including analytical chemistry, environmental analytical chemistry, high accuracy analysis, advanced analytical instrumentation, data quality, chemical metrology and quality management systems at the undergraduate and postgraduate level for B.Sc. Chemistry,  B.Sc.Environmental Science, MSc Data Science and Environmental Intelligence and MSc Environmental Geochemistry.
