    Dr. Oliver Beer is an Associate Professor of Social Work. Oliver’s research primarily focuses on the health and well-being of the child protection workforce, utilizing innovative approaches to prevent and reduce work-related stress. Oliver has multiple peer-reviewed publications in rigorous journals and more than 30 academic conference presentations in four different countries. Oliver is a Public Health Specialist for Plymouth City Council and Cornwall County Council for four days per week.
