    Profile summary

    Jo co-leads the accelerated two-year BA in Primary Education course and is also a lecturer on the BEd Programme, where she leads English and the KS1 and 2 pathway.

    Prior to working at UoP, Jo spent over a decade in primary schools in various classroom and leadership roles, and has taught year groups 1 to 6 inclusive. During this time she was accredited as a Specialist Leader in Education for Phonics and Computing, and as a Level 2 Master Teacher by Computing at School.

    Teaching interests

    - All aspects of the primary curriculum, with a specialist interest in English and Computing. - Supporting a creative curriculum, especially through the use of story and children's literature.
