Jill Annison was Associate Professor (Senior Lecturer) within the Criminology and Criminal Justice Team until July 2018. She is now an Honorary Fellow in the School of Law, Criminology and Government at the University of Plymouth. She was a Visiting Scholar at the Institute of Criminology at the University of Cambridge in the academic years 2018-2019 and 2019-2020.
Member of CREDOS (Collaboration of Researchers for the Effective Development of Offender Supervision)
Sits on the Academic Advisory Panel of the Probation Institute.
2011 - 2015 Trustee for the charity RECOOP (Resettlement and Care for Older Ex-offenders and Prisoners).
2013 Third supervisor (with Dr Patricia Gray and Dr Zoe James) for Magdalini (Rita) Pipini - PhD thesis entitled 'Public Attitudes towards Crime and Punishment in Greece and the Factors Underlying their Construction'.
