Overview
Profile summary
I have extensive experience of supporting children, young people and their families. I have worked across a broad age range, specialising in Early Childhood and using that knowledge to underpin my work within the higher and further education sectors. I have held leadership, management, consultancy and inspection roles (private education, third sector organisations and on behalf of the Department of Education, Uk). Most recently I coordinated the delivery of a newly recommissioned county wide young carers service which has motivated my area of research focus. My research interests lie within the fields of Psychology, Early Childhood studies and family science. My research focus will provide a voice to young carers in early childhood, an underrepresented group within literature, utilising qualitative methodologies.
