Overview
Profile summary
I started at the University of Plymouth in March 2024 as part of a NERC research project investigating landscape preconditioning by earthquakes, and the associated triggered landslide distributions. Working with
Dr Sarah Boulton and
Dr Suryodoy Ghoshal, my role as a research assistant is centred around developing high-resolution landslide inventories for environments with various climates and geologies. By combining these inventories with modelling techniques, landslide forecasting can be improved through a better understanding of the influence large earthquakes have upon global landslide distributions. I started this position following completion of my Masters with Lancaster University where my research project explored sedimentation relationships between microplastic (MP) and volcanic ash particles, with the aim of developing a removal method of MPs from the oceans.
