    Alistair White is a graduate of the University of Plymouth having received first-class honours in human biosciences. His final year project was on the prevalence of antibiotic-resistant E. coli isolates in wastewater treatment effluent which has led him to pursue a research masters (ResM) investigating the molecular effects of microwave irradiation upon antibiotic-resistant bacterial pathogens. He is also currently working as a research assistant at Molendotech, helping to develop a rapid assay for the detection of Salmonella in contaminated food products.
