I am a senior anaesthetic trainee and chair of the South West Anaesthetic Trainee Research Network. I currently hold a National Institute of Academic Anaesthesia Research grant for a feasibility study to investigate wrist-worn smartwatch use in perioperative care. I hold an honorary research fellow position and maintain an interest in a number of research areas including; digital strategies in perioperative care, prehabilitation and cardiopulmonary exercise testing.
