Profile summary

Dr Alex Cahill is the postgraduate programme lead for Theatre. Cahill trained in Boalian techniques while also working as a professional theatre director in the USA. Since coming to the University of Plymouth, Cahill has worked with numerous community groups both in the USA and the UK to raise awareness on the sustainable development goals.

Alex teaches across the BA Directing, BA Acting and BA Drama and Theatre Practice degrees. 
Some of the modules she leads are: Applied Practices: Community, Education and Wellbeing Self and Character Directing Analysis Advanced Directing Dramaturgy
