Adele Kane has worked as a lecturer with the university since 2004, She has taken Lead roles within the School of Nursing and Midwifery such as Subject Specialist and Programme Lead for Mentorship, BSc Health Studies, Return to Practice and Project Lead - Learning for Health eLearning.
Adele has supported and developed practice learning placements for many years and is now an honorary Practice Learning Fellow for NHS England (formally Health Education England) supporting the development of Collaborative Learning in Practice with placement providers and HEI's around the UK as well as within the southwest peninsular and is currently working with a team to support the implementation of Long Arm Supervision Placements within FE colleges Health and well being hubs.
Adele is currently Programme Lead for Return to Practice for nurses, midwives and SCPHN for the School of Nursing and Midwifery. Chair of the SW Peninsular Preceptorship Network and National Return to Practice HEI network.
Currently Site Lead for the Plymouth Exeter School of Nursing Campus
