Organisation profile

We are proud to be a socially minded, progressive medical school with a commitment to equity and social justice.

Our teaching and research are aspirational, interdisciplinary, and driven by curiosity. We strive for excellence and push to continually improve and innovate, generating knowledge and creating impact. We maintain a sense of wonder, keep an open perspective, and engage with the wider world.

We are inclusive and kind, and celebrating diversity so that everyone can feel valued, supported and that they matter.

Through these core values we aim to attract and develop the next generation of doctors, physician associates and radiographers, prepared for modern medical careers. Our world class research aims to serve our local community across the South West, and have global impact.
