Research group lead: Dr Michelle Harris
The Geochemistry group brings together a diverse group of researchers that generate and use geochemical data to address a wide range of marine, Earth, environmental and materials science research. Our research covers all scales: spatially, from nanomaterials through to global Earth systems, and temporally, from the modern day through to the geological past. We have a shared passion for using geochemical tools to address novel, societally relevant and global significant scientific questions. Our research themes are:
- Marine geochemistry
- Materials science
- Sustainable chemistry
- Carbon cycles
The group works under the Centre for Coastal and Ocean Processes and Engineering (C-COPE).
