Overview

Organisation profile

Research Group Leads: Dr Sumanth Kumbargere Nagraj, Dr Prashanti Eachempati, and Professor Mona Nasser

The Evidence-based Healthcare and Evidence Synthesis (EBHES) Group prioritises methodological excellence in the generation and use of evidence to inform healthcare decision making.

Our work focuses on the conduct of rigorous systematic reviews, including pairwise meta analysis and network meta analysis, alongside qualitative and mixed methods evidence synthesis to address complex healthcare questions. We are committed to advancing transparent, reproducible, and methodologically robust approaches, with careful integration of quantitative and qualitative evidence where appropriate.

A central priority of the Group is the development of high-quality clinical practice guidelines using internationally recognised standards, including the GRADE approach for assessing certainty of evidence and formulating recommendations. Through collaboration, methodological innovation, and capacity building, the Group aims to strengthen the scientific foundations of evidence-based healthcare.
