The Impact of Waves and Tides on Residual Sand Transport on a Sediment-Poor, Energetic, and Macrotidal Continental Shelf: Dataset

Dataset

Description

This dataset is in support of the paper 'The Impact of Waves and Tides on Residual Sand Transport on a Sediment-Poor, Energetic, and Macrotidal Continental Shelf' (King et al., 2019). The dataset contains processed maps covering the South West UK continental shelf for the following variables: Mean depth-averaged velocity U and V components. Maximum bed shear stress over a tidal cycle U and V components. Cumulative total sand transport over a tidal cycle U and V components. Wave-Tide dominance classification. In addition to the above, the model input files and parameters are included.
