Under the leadership of Dr Lise Hunter, the Thames Freeport Skills Accelerator Programme has completed its pilot phase, delivering practical Industry 5.0 training for senior leaders and professionals across the Port of Tilbury and the wider Freeport region. Delivered with the University of Plymouth Business School, SEATS, and the Port of Tilbury, the programme focused on applied skills in AI, sustainability, innovation, procurement, and data-driven decision making, using real port challenges to build strategic capability and support Net Zero and future-ready operations.
