'Figured Fatigue' aims to initiate ground breaking critical academic debate on 'fatigue', via publication of an edited collection of creative essays. Our call for 'expressions of interest' has led to 30 abstracts covering a range of substantive areas including burnout, gender, ethnicity/ race, culture, embodiment, the life-course, the workplace, material circumstance, geography and the intersections of these. We are currently organising this work into a book proposal to be submitted to Bristol University Press. This work leads to our ongoing academic interest in Chronic Fatigue, Functional Disorders and Long Covid.
